Omaha Baby Care
Montessori Children’s Academy provides loving, nurturing care for your baby in a clean and safe environment. Conveniently located on Harrison Street, MCA’s Montessori-trained infant guide creates a stimulating environment that encourages self discovery.
The infant environment is structured with a:
- sleeping area
- gross motor/movement area
- eating area
- changing area
- active time area
We spend time outside each day, weather permitting. It’s all designed to best meet the needs of your baby.
MCA Curriculum
The first three years lay a critical foundation for cognitive growth. We create sensory experiences for interaction and exploration that build that foundation. We help your child become independent, happy, and well-adjusted.
Helping your baby learn to self soothe to sleep and to calm themselves is important. Freedom of movement helps a baby learn about their environment. We create an environment to encourage these things and more. Our Montessori Guides carefully select materials to satisfy your child’s ever changing needs.

FAQ
Ages
Montessori Children’s Academy accepts infants 6 weeks to 18 months of age. Children stay in the infant room until they are about 18 months old and then advance to the toddler room.
Schedule
Montessori Children’s Academy offers year-round care for infants. We are open Monday through Friday from 7am to 6pm, excluding federal holidays. We are also closed December 24- January 2.
Cost
The cost of baby care at Montessori Children’s Academy is $1056/month. Call (402) 502-9118 for information on our academic day option, from 8:15 am to 3:15 pm.

We are excited to meet you! We welcome parents to meet us and tour MCA. Call (402) 502-9118 to schedule your tour today!
We’ll ask you to fill out an application for placement and discuss a start date. The application fee is $100.
Guides
At Montessori Children’s Academy, your children are led by Guides. We call them that rather than teachers to emphasize that we create an environment for your child’s safe exploration and development. We guide them on their path of discovery, providing tools, encouragement, and, for older children, lessons.
